80 in April!

It was almost 80 degrees the other day!  We busted out the girls pool and spent time in the back yard.  I cannot wait for the warm days to come.

Snacking on frozen strawberries.

Take Your Child to Work Day

Josh took Madison to work with him for a half day on "Take Your Child to Work Day".

She was SO excited to go to work with Daddy and to teach the kids math facts.

I packed her some activities in her backpack and made her a cute lunch. (I serioulsy cannot wait to pack her lunch everyday next year).  I am sure I won't be saying that forever, but for now I am excited about it.  My pinterst board reflects my excitement.  Bento lunches for kids are the cutest thing!

Grandma's Visit

Grandma Brazil has been staying with us for the past week.  Every morning Ellie would find her way into the bathroom while Grandma was getting ready.  She would stand on the toilet and lean on the counter and watch Grandma's every move.  The girl soaks up everything.  I am so thankful for the Godly, wonderful influences in her life!

2 in two weeks!

How is it possible that this little girl is going to be 2 in two weeks!!!
I love this little girl to pieces!

Pacific City Beach Trip April 2013

We spent last weekend in Pacific City at a beach house with Josh's brother Jon and his fiance Jessica, Josh's other brother Mike, his boys, and Mike's girl friend Christine (who also happens to be one of my very closest friends).

It was pretty cold, as April at the beach in Oregon tends to be.  I don't know how the kids managed to play in the water as much as they did! Crazy kids.

We had fun riding bikes, long boards, playing ping pong, roasted coconut marshmallows, playing games, and just hanging out with our family.

Waaaa

I was the worst blogger ever this month.  Sometimes it felt a little like this around here this month...

New Addition to the Family

Nope not pregnant.  Not now anyway.

Nope not a pet.  Not ever I hope.

We were given a VAN.

And we are feeling extremely blessed.

It's red, it's older than the van my mom drove when I was a kid, it's smells a little funny, it isn't fancy, but it is ours, and it was free, and we love it!

The kids were outgrowing the backseat of our beloved Yaris.  It has worked well for us, but we were definitely feeling the space crunch with our growing family of 5 in that tiny little sedan.  Josh will keep driving our Yaris and we will still take it on long trips because the gas mileage and dependability can't be beat.

Our new addition.

Backseat of the Yaris.

Look at all that space!  And the kids are so far away from me while I drive.  I love it!
