Girls Room

I finally moved the last box from the girls room. It is 99% finished. All three girls share one large room and then a smaller room with their closet, dresser and hair accessories.

Finally got around to taking a pregnant picture. 21 weeks and 2 days.  Also a picture of my diaper bag, a gift from my friends for my birthday. I am seriously excited to tote around diapers and bottles!

21 Weeks Pregnancy Update

How far along? 21 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 2 Lbs
Maternity clothes? Some.  Still able to wear my favorite pre-pregnancy jeans and maxi skirt though.
Sleep? 7-8 hours at night, and the occasional nap
Stretch marks? Nope
Best moment this week: Zoo and Beach trips with the kiddoz and buying a couple of things for the nursery: a grey and white chevron hamper, a yellow piggy bank and a yellow chalk board for monthly updates once the baby is born
Movement: Most active around 10pm
Food Cravings: Peaches, Coke, Candy, and Beef Top Ramen with an egg and frozen peas in it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Pregnancy Symptoms: Dizzy if I stand in one place for too long. 
Labor Signs: Definitely no.
Looking forward to: Deciding on a name. Doctor appointment next week, it has been 7 weeks!

Zoo Trip

The girls won Zoo tickets through the summer reading program at the Library. We are doing some last minute fun actives before school starts...in 2 weeks! I am a creature of habit, and every time we go to the zoo we follow the exact same routine. It takes us the same amount of time to get through the exhibits  almost every time we go to the zoo. Today though, our usual starting point was closed for maintenance so we were forced to go another route. I'm so glad it was closed! We spent twice as long at the zoo and they normally do and saw exhibits we've never seen before.

Pregnancy Update

I haven't been great about documenting this pregnancy so I thought I would start now!

 

How far along? 19 weeks 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: 0 lbs so far!
Maternity clothes? Some.  Still able to wear my favorite pre-pregnancy jeans though.
Sleep? 9 + hours a night
Stretch marks? Nope
Best moment this week: Finding out we are having a GIRL!!!!
Movement: Lots.  She was moving like crazy in the ultrasound, even the tech couldn't believe it. Both Madison and Josh got to feel her for the first time this week too.
Food Cravings: Coke.  And suddenly I am hungry all of the time, that is new.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Pregnancy Symptoms: I am really tired.  I get dizzy if I stand in one place too long. 
Labor Signs: Definitely no.
Looking forward to: Planning the nursery(thinking yellow, aqua/teal, and gray) and picking a name.

Happy 5th Birthday Makenzie!!!

We celebrated Makenzie turning 5 with a party in the park. She loved being surrounded by her friends. She is such a social girl, it makes her feel so loved to be surrounded by friends and family.  

Makenzie has one of the most generous spirits I have ever seen. She is selfless and always willing to share. Today we went to the store to get two new Lego sets for her birthday and as soon as we got them she gave one of them to her sister. She will happily share her last piece of candy or last bite of candy. I am so thankful for this girl.

Miss Personality

This kids personality is growing and growing. She is the most adorable little thing I have ever seen.  She insists on wearing boots or Toms every day. She loves to make people laugh.  And she is doing awesome at potty training!!!

First and second teeth lost

This post is a little late. Just before we left for Brazil, Madison noticed that her tooth was loose.  I hoped she would not loose it until we got home from Brazil. It's a big milestone! It hung on until two days after we got home. It came out super easily, no drama or tears. The tooth fairy left her $5 (taped to the door of her bedroom because she did not want the tooth fairy in her room).  Three days later she lost her second tooth in a piece of corn on the cob. The tooth fairy left her $2 this time.  And now she is working in tooth number 3!

Sunrvier 2013

 A couple of weeks ago we went to Sunriver with my family.   Everyone was there except my dad, who had to work unfortunately. :(  I love vacationing in Sunriver.  It's pretty inexpensive, it is peaceful, there's biking, pools, a hot tub, great restaurants and lots of nature in a not too nature-y kind of way.  And Bellatazza is there, only the best coffee shop I have ever been to in my life.  (sorry Starbucks).
