California Trip 2014

Hailey and I went to California to visit the Duncan family while the older three girls were at my mom's house for Grandcamp.  It is safe to say she had a pretty great time. She was a pretty good little traveller too. It was nice to get to spend some one on one time with her.  She was away from her sisters for 10 days and even though she was over tired and had cried much of the way home from the airport (very unusual for her to cry), she started laughing as soon as she saw her sisters.  I love that my girls have each other!

Park Evenings

We spent a warm evening at the park this evening. Add in a $5 pepperoni pizza and we had dinner too!  I am looking forward to many more evenings at the park as a family this summer (and nights off from cooking dinner)!

4 Months Old

Hailey is growing and growing! She is rolling some and grabbing at everything. She is trying to sit up. She has been sucking her thumb sometimes and also taking a pacifier. She is still getting up 1-2 times at night. She is such a sweet, easy going baby! She is so content and put up with being toted along to keep up with her sisters' schedules.  She giggles and squeals and loves to chat. She is happiest when she is being looked at and talked to (such a girl). 

Tummy time

Hailey is becoming an expert at tummy time and even started rolling from her tummy to her back this week!

Tulip Fields 2014

It's that time of year again. The girls had the day off from school today so we went out to the tulip fields with my mother in law and two of my nephews. I didn't get the great tulip fields shot of all four girls that I was hoping for, but we came away with fun memories anyway.

Ellie's First Hair Cut

Ellie had her first haircut today. I was unsure about cutting it, but it needed to happen. She was forever getting food in it. She was nervous at first. Little Angels Salon is the best though. She picked her a fun car to sit in , chose to watch strawberry shortcake and had a toy phone in her hand. She was a happy girl. 

I do miss her loose curls but I am happy with how it turned out!  Her first big girl hair cut!
